Developing the leaders our world needs will not be done by relying
on textbooks, lectures and training seminars. At the Davis
Leadership Center, we will develop and deliver a variety of active
and conversational learning experiences that will
AWAKEN,
ENLIGHTEN and
TRANSFORM the way people view
themselves, leaders and leadership. Thus, we will seek to provide
educational programs of all varieties (seminars, speakers, films,
etc.) that encourage participants to

assess their leadership aptitudes, attitudes and practice

engage in dialogue instead of conversation

listen reflectively instead of reflexively

create communities and build teams

create and tell their own stories and the stories of their organizations

learn from reflection, observation, experience and abstraction

facilitate trust and agreement

display their
emotional and
spiritual
intelligences as
well as their
quantitative and
operational ones

The Davis Leadership Center is committed to helping people acquire and continually enhance their approach to leadership. The world is full of managers. Value driven, interpersonally savvy, ethical leaders with a broad sense of social and fiscal responsibility are hard to find. Thus, the Davis Leadership Center will deliver programs for people from all walks of life that will help them to realize the truth in that timeless admonition - leaders can do well by doing good.
