About Us

     We are taking this approach to leadership development because of the new realities with which leaders must contend. Modern leaders operate in a hypercompetitive environment in which change - indeed rapid and often paradigm shifting change - is the only constant. Therefore, leaders must be able to thrive on chaos and embrace ambiguity while simultaneously helping their subordinates to embrace and lead the changes necessary for organizations and individuals to flourish.

     Successful organizational and personal outcomes will not be achieved via command and control method. Key outcomes will only be achieved when leaders enable people to perform their tasks in meaningful and productive ways. Thus, leaders must build communities of cooperative networks and not rely on establishing the series of exchange transactions that used to define their work.  The post modern organization needs to be a place where a variety of talents and perspectives are groomed, heard and acted upon. The Davis Leadership Center will endeavor to help people develop such an approach to leadership.
